Razorbacks Add Forward Ava Stice

The Arkansas Razorbacks are excited to announce that forward Ava Stice has committed to the University of Arkansas for the 2025-26 season. Stice comes to Fayetteville from Shorewood, IL and the Naperville Sabres 19U AA program. She will be pursuing a degree in Exercise Science.
Stice got into hockey when she started watching the Chicago Blackhawks with her dad. She said the reason for choosing Arkansas was because the beautiful campus, good academics, and its strong and supporting community. Stice was selected as the captain for her 19U AA Sabres team this past year. She was awarded the Keith Mellen Award for service to her community and for demonstrating outstanding individual performance and leadership skills on and off the ice.
The University of Arkansas Women’s Hockey team plays in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The 2025-26 season will be the team’s second season as a member of the ACHA competing in Division II. The team’s schedule can be viewed here. All home games are played at The Jones Center for Families in Springdale, AR.
